General Description
Location and Getting There:
Spruce Point Lodge is located in the west end of Queen Charlotte City on the beach on the tip of the point in front of the high school. The street address is 609-6th Street but of course there are no street signs indicating this. If you are driving, go west through Queen Charlotte City and at the high school (the only school) turn left and then take the second left to the end of that very short street.
If you are arriving by air in Sandspit, there is an airport bus that waits outside the arrivals area for each flight and for $15.00 will take you and your luggage to your hotel in Queen Charlotte City.
If you are arriving by ferry there are taxi's that meet the ferry, if there is not one there when you arrive, use the pay phone outside the terminal to call either Eagle Cabs or Pete's Taxi. The cost into town is approximately $15.00.
No, we don't have a pickup service. The reason for this is that it is a very small town and the taxi businesses are trying to make a living in a very short season so we don't provide taxi service and they don't offer accommodation.
