I make objects in response to things that happen in
the place I live – Haida Gwaii – and in an effort to capture
feelings and observations that occur day-to-day in
this place.

The triggers for production are as simple as seeing a
rainbow split in two, political discussions or observing
how we behave in certain situations.

To produce the work I use what I have at hand, things
that I have found, bought, or which have been given to me.
