This service is operated year-round on a daily basis.   

Advance reservation is recommended for travel in either direction.   Service is operated on a “door to door” basis, but you can load and unload at the ferry terminal.   Departure from Sandspit Airport is dependent upon Air Canada Jazz flight arrival in Sandspit.

Fare includes all applicable ferry costs.

CONDITIONS  

All fares subject to change without notice.  GST included in all fares.  Fares shown are in Canadian Currency, US$ accepted at par only.  Visa and MasterCard accepted.  All fares reflect one-way travel only for one passenger and include ferry costs where applicable.  Allowable luggage is two pieces per passenger, total maximum weight 50kgs. Passengers travelling with pets, excess luggage or large items are advised to reserve in advance and items are transported space provided.  Children under age 12 must be accompanied at all times by their parent/guardian.

 ADDITIONAL CHARGES  

Payment by valid Eagle Transit credit account OR credit card is subject to minimum $15 charge regardless of actual fare.  Additional stops for same customer: $5 per stop.  Excess or overweight luggage subject to additional fees (minimum $5 per item) and is transported on space available basis.  All kayaks, bicycles and like objects or second wheelchairs subject to additional charge of $10 and are transported if space available.  No charge for strollers or car seats.  Kennels (empty or not) transported on space available basis with minimum charge of $5 and maximum charge of $25 depending on overall size. 

 FARE DISCOUNTS

A fare discount is available for passengers who purchase their ferry tickets direct from BC Ferries.  Proof of purchase is required.  Applicable discount for an adult is $4 and $2 for children age 2-11.  Discount applies to travel from BC Ferries, Skidegate Terminal to Sandspit only.

A fare discount is available for BC Seniors (age 65+).  Proof of residency required for inspection by BC Ferries staff.  Applicable discount is $4.  Discount applies to travel from Queen Charlotte/Skidegate to Sandspit only.

A fare discount of $8 is available for passengers travelling from Alliford Bay ferry terminal to Queen Charlotte/ Skidegate.  Discount does not apply for travel from Queen Charlotte/Skidegate to Alliford Bay

Group rate (five or more passengers):  $20 each, one-way travel, must be reserved and paid at least one day in advance of travel, entire group must travel at same time, to and from same location. Applicable excess luggage charges are additional.  Eagle Transit offers no refund or credit on the day of travel for fares prepaid in advance. 

LIMITS OF LIABILITY

In the event of loss or damage to baggage and/or other passenger goods, Eagle Transit will not be liable for more than fifty dollars ($50) on any fare unless at the time of delivery of such baggage and/or goods to Eagle Transit the passenger will declare a greater value.  In any event, no liability will ever exceed one and hundred fifty dollars ($150).
