The NH Connections service on Haida Gwaii is changing!
Effective April 12, 2012 the Connections bus service on Haida Gwaii will operate under a different schedule.
NH Connections Haida Gwaii will travel from the Queen Charlotte Islands Hospital in Queen Charlotte to the Northern Haida Gwaii Hospital and Health Center in Masset.
While the service is available to the general public, priority will be given to passengers travelling for medical purposes as space is limited.
This service is “door to door” so passengers will need to call in advance for pick-up or drop-off at their home or other location.
Departure from the Queen Charlotte is approxiamtely 12pm with an 1:45pm arrival in Masset.
Departure from Masset is approximately 3pm with 4:45pm arrival in Queen Charlotte. We will not leave Masset until all reserved passengers are available to travel back to their community.
Pick-ups and drop-offs in other communties are ajusted accordingly.
This service does not replace your local taxi service where available.
Regular fare $30 or less, medical fare $10
