We're located in the heart of Queen Charlotte City on the corner of a quiet no thru road. We're 1 block up from the community dock, ½ a block from restaurants and shops, minutes from beaches, hiking and the Queen Charlotte Visitor Information Centre. Bird watching is a step out the door to the deck. It makes a great place to come back to after a day of adventures.

Queen Charlotte City

Queen Charlotte City makes an ideal base to explore the rest of the island. Many of the attractions, beaches and hikes are close by. It is a ten minute drive from the ferry landing to Queen Charlotte City. The Haida Gwaii Museum and whale watching in the spring is a fifteen minute drive. Other communities can easily be reached in a day. Charters into Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and Haida Heritage Site leave from the dock in Queen Charlotte City or from Moresby Camp.

Don't let the name mislead you. Though Queen Charlotte City (and Masset) are the largest communities on the island their population is only about 1,200 people. Queen Charlotte City has been considered the unofficial capital of the islands but all island communities and surrounding areas have something special to offer.

How to find us

Our address is 3127 2nd Ave. Heading into Queen Charlotte City from the ferry we're 1 block past the hospital, turn right on Alder (Rainbows Store is on the corner). Go 1 block up, we're the big house on the corner.
