Established in 1980 by Dr Don Richardson this mixed practice is the first and only veterinary facility on the Queen Charlotte Islands. The hospital, located on the Richardson Ranch, provides both medical and surgical services, including X-rays and dentistry, as well as a boarding kennel for dogs and cats.  Referrels to specialists can be arranged as the situation requires.

Dr. Richardson received his BSc from the University of Saskatchewan in 1974 and his DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine located at the University of Saskatchewan in 1978. He is a member of the
