Arrive at the Sports Dock

 

Tags, tag guns and work orders are provided to clearly mark your catch as it proceeds through the processing

 
Communication with Albion via marine radio will ensure everything is ready for your arrival

 

Enter the Marina and proceed to the off load area
 
The Albion crew will be waiting to help dock the boat and off load your catch

There is a hanging scale available to weigh your catch and take photos for memories of the moment

Your work is done, and Albion begins the processing

Albion Receives the Catch

Fish is separated into individual orders and preferences of the customer are specified
 
Your catch is headed, gutted and iced down

Albion is a Federally, FDA and EU Registered Facility. We take pride in our product.
 
Safe guards are in place to ensure the freshness and quality of your catch

Once taken to the Upper dock, a forklift will carry the totes to the processing room
 
Your catch is received at the facility. Head off, gutted weight is added to the work order

Albion Processes the Fish

Filleted or Portioned to individual specification, as noted on the work order

Once Filleted or Portioned, your catch is placed into VACPAC bags, labeled with individual order numbers, and Vacuum Packed

Blast Freeze

Straight into the Blast Freezer at -35°F to ensure prime, long lasting Freshness
 
The shelf life of your catch, once Vacuum Packed and frozen, is 12 to 18 months

Additional products are available for purchase as well as specialty processing, such as smoking and canning

 

Delivery

Once order is complete and product is frozen, your order is placed in a Styro cooler to retain temperature, then into a box for shipping

 
Fish is packed well to ensure there is little or no movement while in transit
 
For those traveling on a scheduled airport delivery day, fish will be brought, direct to the Sandspit airport

Fish sent for smoking or canning will follow at a later date, 8 to 12 weeks
 
Seafood purchases made with Albion will be packed in the  Styro box with your catch
